Initiative Wins at Campaign Media Awards

Last night, Initiative UK won Silver at the Festival of Media Global Awards for the work on the Amazon Echo – The World’s First Alexa-Powered Ad campaign in the Best of Digital Media category! This was a true IPG Mediabrands across agency effort as it would not have been possible without  Mubaloo, UM Studios, One SJS Design Studio, Cadreon and AdOps teams! The world’s first advertising unit powered by Alexa, gives millions the ability to trial Echo at a cost per experience of £0.25 and driving purchase consideration +40%. This industry-first campaign has definitely helped make a strong impression on the global industry level and we look forward to continued recognition of the team’s strong work on this campaign and future campaigns.

Last month, Initiative UK won gold at the Campaign Media Awards! The black-tie affair took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane where elite advertising executives gathered to reveal the incredible work illustrated in the past year.

Initiative UK had three entries shortlisted for their tremendous work for Amazon including their efforts on Amazon Echo Moments in the Media & Entertainment category, Amazon’s Alexa-Powered Ad Unit campaign in the Product Innovation – Media Agency category and Amazon’s Black Friday Programmatic OOH campaign in the Retail – Online & Offline category.

We took home the win for the Amazon Black Friday Programmatic OOH campaign. A huge congratulations to Initiative UK and everyone who worked on this brilliant campaign!
