Initiative UK has launched the Contributors’ Panel, a series of monthly events exploring different aspects of society; aimed to inform, guide and spark cultural debate within Initiative.

The event takes the form of a panel discussion, with the panel being drawn from key stakeholders within the advertising industry and beyond. The audience is comprised of Initiative employees and in the future, potentially clients and media contacts. Initiative believes that culture is at the heart of what drives consumers and brands who weave themselves into a culture, are far more effective than those that target age or demographics alone.

The first Contributors’ Panel brought together Amy Grier Associate Editor at Cosmopolitan, Ronac McNeill, a professional photographer, Craig Strachan from Digital Music at Amazon and Patrick Strudwick, LGBT Editor at Buzzfeed with Leah Annett, Initiative’s head of partnerships, as the moderator and discussion focused on gender and culture in society today and how brands play a role in the gender debate.

We look forward to this month’s panel on sports culture!
